This Feeling...

This odd feeling...
It makes me wanna cry,
It makes me wanna look up,
And into these dark skies.

I do not know why,
I've sunk so low.
I was up so high,
Then it went down, slow.

This feeling inside,
It's tearing me up.
The joy and the pain,
I want to give up...

But I won't,
I never will,
End this life.
But even still...

The heart is such
An odd thing...
That it can break me up
Then make me sing.

Why is this feeling
Creeping into my life?
So hurtful and yet...

I want this strife.
